It seems like the Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark have given up on trickery in favor of terrifying power. Their signature ability, Illusion, allowed them to take on the appearance of other Pokemon in order to conceal their true identities (and sometimes trick trainers into ignoring their presence). Back in Gen 5 when both Pokemon were introduced, they were seen mostly as harmless tricksters. Sinnoh's Zoruas and Zoroarks aren't messing around anymore. If you’ll recall, a Pokemon researcher went deep into the snowy mountains of the Sinnoh region to observe these mysterious, ghostly Pokemon, only to apparently meet his end when he got a little too close. Pokémon Legends: Arceus’s latest trailer zeroes in on Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark, the latest Pokemon revealed in last week’s Blair Witch-style teaser.
